What's in Store for You?
From January to June 2024, you will embark on a remarkable adventure that involves:
- Fundraising for the Wisdom Hospice: Making a positive impact on your community by raising funds for a noble cause.
- Dance Training: Learning the art of dance from our experienced instructors.
- Having a Whole Lot of Fun: Enjoy every moment of this fantastic journey, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
- Performing in Front of Special Guest Judges: Picture yourself under the spotlight, showcasing your newly acquired dance skills in front of our esteemed panel of judges.
Commitment is the key, and it involves 12 two-hour sessions between March and the Grand Finale, group dance sessions and some extra rehearsal time, to ensure you're ready to shine on the stage. You'll also be actively involved in fundraising for the Wisdom Hospice.
Date and Venue
Mid Kent College (Glass Box Theatre) – Saturday, 29th June is the grand finale. Get ready to dazzle the audience in this magnificent setting.
Dance Styles
You'll be mastering two captivating dance styles, the elegant Ballroom Waltz and the fiery Latin American Cha Cha Cha, plus there's a thrilling group dance to add to the excitement.

We need your help and would ask that each participant sells a minimum of 6 tickets (£25 each) to family and friends, and to also raise a minimum sponsorship of £250.

Come Along for a Taster Session
Do you have two left feet? Want to dance but can’t? No problem, our Dance Teachers will teach you.
Join our taster session on Sunday 28th January 2pm – 4pm, at St. Justus Church, The Fairway, Rochester, ME1 2LT. It will give you the chance to meet our Head Dance Teacher, practice some steps and have fun!
What to Expect
You'll prepare for and then perform two individual dances with your dance partner (also a novice), and a scintillating group dance, all in front of a live audience and our panel of judges in June. It's your time to shine!
Please note that all applicants must be over 18 years of age and have little or no prior dance experience. We're looking for fresh talent and a zest for dancing!
Who's Competing
While we're aiming for 6 couples, the final count depends on the number of enthusiastic participants. You don’t need to come with a dance partner, as you will be paired up. But if you do have a partner in mind you can enter as a pair and dance together! Be a part of this inaugural event and make it a grand success!
Training Schedule
There will be 12, 2-hour sessions between March and the Grand Finale, these sessions will be organised with participants and we'll also have a couple of dynamic group dance sessions to keep the energy high.
