Be Your Best self Challenge

Give up … Take up … Get Healthy!

We all know breaking bad habits is never easy, and neither is sticking to new ones!
So we have come up with a way to help you stay on track with your journey to become your best self in 2021.

Join us and Give up something you want to stop and Take up something you want to start, all whilst raising money to keep you on track and accountable!

£5 per participant

You will receive a certificate at the end showing your achievements.

Give up's & Take up's

You can give up anything you want. Whether that's something you eat too much or using bad language, maybe even spending too much time on your screens?
It could be anything that you feel isn't good for your health and wellbeing. That habit, that something, that is holding you back.

Now, choose something to take up. Whether that is some sort of exercise or mindfulness activity than will benefit your wellbeing and will help you be your best self.
Again, the choice is yours. You could take up an activity, meditation, learn a language or just read every night before going to sleep.

We want to help you make those changes to be your Best Self in 2021!

How can I stay on track?

Fundraising

Fundraising is a great way to keep you on track because you have made a commitment to more than just yourself. Your friends and family can support you in your journey, not just with words of encouragement, but in sponsorship.

We encourage you to create a JustGiving page to help you raise sponsorship online. This makes it easy for you and your supporters to get behind you and stay updated on your progress.

You can also enjoy your fundraising journey offline. If online sponsorship is not your thing and you would a traditional sponsorship form, just let us know.

Be Your Best Self Facebook Group

Once you have registered you will be able to join our Facebook group. So you can share your own achievements alongside everyone taking part in the challenge. There will be a whole best self community for advice and support, especially on those days when it feels a little harder.

We will be posting updates in the group about how the challenge is going and how everyone’s fundraising targets are coming along.

What if I slip up?

We know going 100% without might be difficult, but so that you don't have to struggle with the guilt - you can simply buy a free pass from us!

Whether you need a quick treat, a day off or a bit more of a break, we have got you covered.

Passes range from £1 which could be, 1 bar of chocolate or 1 sneaky cigarette. £5 which could let you of a whole bottle of wine or half a days screen time. £10 could buy you a longer recovery from your new morning run or a days grace.

You just simply purchase any of these passes!

Decide what you are going to Give Up and Take Up and then click Sign Up!

Once you have registered, you will get a registration email with the next steps to set up your JustGiving page and join our Facebook Group.

Then start smashing that goal! Keep us up to date with your progress, and let us know if you need the motivation to get you through. We're all with you here and we know you can do this!
