The Asda Foundation is committed to supporting small grassroots charities and will be awarding money to charities as part of their Christmas activity to celebrate and thank groups for their commitment to your communities this year.
Throughout September Asda would like you to nominate a charity close to your heart which has gone above and beyond in your community to make sure nobody has been on their own throughout the pandemic.
In 2020, the charity must have made a positive impact in one or more of the following ways:
- Reducing isolation
- Reducing poverty
- Delivered essential items to vulnerable people
- Been a community lifeline
For further information please check out the Asda Foundation website, www.asdafoundation.org
Nominations are open from Tuesday 1st – Wednesday 30th September.
We would love your support in nominating The Friends of the Wisdom Hospice.
In order to help make your nomination easier, we have already partly filled in the form for you. And here are some suggestions on why you should nominate us.
The Wisdom Hospice creates a Community Lifeline as well as addressing social isolation for their patients, volunteers, and staff. Their Community Nurse visit patients within their own homes and are always available by phone to support both hospice patients and their families.
The Friends of the Wisdom Hospice are a charity that supports the hospice financially as well as supporting volunteers with regular emails and virtual coffee mornings. We have supported the hospice in communicating and maintaining engagement with all volunteers throughout lockdown and helped with any needs they have, hospice related or not.
Click the button below and complete the form, then print it out and drop it off to your nearest ASDA Store.
